Log in. Jump to Latest Follow. ed May 7, I'm new here. Looking for some big cats near broken Arrow. I cant find any where to get to the river. Im less the then 2 miles. But no entry to it. Any info would be appreciate thanks. ed May 10, I dont know of any acess places to the river in broken arrow but I hear theres a good fishin spot nearby in owasso. Take all the way to owasso and exit west onto 76th street and take that about a mile and turn left on nd and the pond is at the first 3 way stop to the right.

ed Nov 12, If you want to fish Ft Gibson let me know and we can try to set something up. That would be awesome. About how far is ft. I'm originally from Kansas and I don't know many places around Tulsa. I would really like to set something up. ed Jun 9, If you live in BA, head East on Kenosha. Follow it all the way to the end and you'll be at the lock and dam on the Channel.

It's called Bluegill Point. If you need a place to launch a boat, then turn left at the that says "Bluff Landing". It's about a mile before you get to Bluegill Point. You can fish off the bank in both areas. Is that any good fishing? I will check that out for sure. Thanks a a lot for the help. ed Mar 15, Then end of 71st is an ok spot. I like to fish it when they have the last gate runnin. I take a big float and float my shad along that wall bouncin off bottom caught a few nice fish like that.

I also had a buddy catch a 20lb blue down there its been a couple of years. I live in tulsa so i fish round here as much as I can. I think i might go check it out tomorrow if the weather holds out. At least ill have an idea of the place. Hopefully i can get some bait down there. ed Jul 12, Go south on th. River is right there and good bank access I went down th, i seen it on the map.

But when i went to check it out, It had a gate before the river. Something to do with the school. Idk if there is somewhere u can get passed And get down to the river. Any more advice would be very much appreciated. ed Sep 1, Go west into Tulsa until you get to Memorial Drive. South on Memorial to the Arkansas River bridge just past E. I have never been down there to check out access to the river but I have seen people down there fishing occasionally, so I know that you can get in somewhere around there.

There's a sand dredging company that uses the north bank east of the bridge, so doubtful you can get in there but you could have a look around at the other three corners of the bridge. Also, if you keep following Memorial out through Bixby you'll get to a tiny little town called Leonard 5 miles past the eastward curve.

Stop in there and ask about places to get to the river. You should be within about 35 miles of the Ft. Gibson Dam if you head east on the Muskogee Turnpike. ed Jun 27, ed Mar 29, LaBlueHunter said:. Been catching a good mess of fish ranging from lb. Even a 13 lb flatty, which i have never had a fish hit as hard as he did lol. Pretty nice being 4 miles away. ed Jul 18, Hello, Im new here and new to catfish fishing in general. I was wondering which area you found decent. I have been trying a place in Catoosa without much luck lately but its been HOT! I think that I might try down 71st and see if I have much luck there.

Did you ever find a place by the school? Thanks for the info everyone. Well, I scouted the location thats far East on 71st tonight and Im guessing thats not where your fishing. Not the kind of place I would want to be after dark. The boat ramp area that is a mile away from there is closed from July 6 - 30th for repairs. Be warned, there is an entry and an exit. The entry is closed and the exit has tire spikes so dont think about entering which I see someone doing if its after dark.

ed Mar 8, Good luck out there everyone! ed Sep 3, I went down to the river and noticed baseball games were going on and the gates were open. I fished behind field 12 with some DK for a few hours but only caught a couple of babys. It was nice just to wet my line. the discussion. Continue with Facebook. Continue with Google.
